WorkCart is a workflow platform that helps productized service businesses scale by using automation. We serve professionals like lawyers, landscapers, consultants and others who offer a personal service to clients by creating repeatable workflows that absorb admin-intensive work.

We are looking for an organized sales and marketing specialist to assist in advertising and user acquisition for WorkCart’s online platform. The sales and marketing specialist’s responsibilities include generating unique sales plans, creating engaging advertisements, direct and newsletter emails, and promotional literature, developing our affiliate program, and engaging with platform users. The sales and marketing specialist represents the WorkCart's brand and drives strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends.

To be a successful sales and marketing specialist, you should have strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. You should also possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing, and a willingness to get things done.

Sales and Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Promoting WorkCart’s online automation platform and exploring new market opportunities.
  • Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.
  • Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.
  • Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by checking in through email or Zoom, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
  • Development of marketing materials, including recording Loom videos to demonstrate the WorkCart software to potential clients.

Sales and Marketing Manager Requirements:

  • Post-secondary study in marketing, business administration, or similar, or 2-4 years experience in marketing/sales.
  • Experience with startups and tech products is especially helpful.
  • Experience delivering exceptional sales results.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.

This is a part-time, fully remote position, 5-10 hours per week.
